PARENTS CONTRIBUTE to THEIR CHILD'S SUCCESS
Paradise Pre-School is a parent co-operative where parents are involved in their child's
first formal school experience. It's appropriate
that children begin their formal schooling with their parents
because the familiarity of a parent allows children to more
easily transition from the routine of home to the routine
of a pre-school environment. Parental involvement also provides
an opportunity for parents to know the teachers, experience
the classroom, observe how their child interacts with other
children, and how s/he responds to the pre-school experience.
We provide programs for 3 and
4 year olds in the morning.
CERTIFIED STAFF
Jessica
Hamack, our Director, is a well-qualified and experienced pre-school
teacher. Jessica has earned A.S. degrees in Child Development and Liberal Arts, and
an A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Butte College. Jessica also
holds a Child Development Teacher Permit from the State of California, and
has many years of experience educating and caring for young children.
Jessica looks forward to providing a nurturing learning environment for
children and their parents. We want pre-school to be an enriching experience
for your whole family, and we hope that sharing in your child's first school
experience will help facilitate your involvement in his/her educational
process as s/he progresses through school.
EDUCATING CHILDREN FOR OVER
FIFTY
YEARS
We have been working with our littlest learners and their
families for over 50 years, offering an art and writing center, science
center, carpentry workshop, and a fully equipped playground. Activities
include playing outside, creating projects that utilize fine motor and
math skills, circle time, cooking experiences, field trips and more.
 If
